Today in Barcelona...

Today the Spanish company Desigual inaugurated its new global headquarters in Barcelona, just across the beach, with an investement of 20 million euros. The new offices are inspired by the slogan “La vida es chula”, which means Life is cool.

“The building has marvellous views of the beach on one side, and the port and city of Barcelona, on the other. Through it’s glass façade you can see life and nature, sunsets, waves, the horizon. The interior design generates positive energy”, says the company's manager Manel Jadraque.

The transfer of 800 employees from the Bruc and Casp offices to this new headquarters has acted as a catalyst towards new ways of working. They took the opportunity to decide collectively how they would like the new offices to look and how they’d like to work in it.

Open spaces, advanced technology, and sustainable design are the main characteristics of this building that houses all the company's departments, from design to marketing and chain supply, for its 350 stores and 7000 selling points around the world.
