In recognition of Danish fashion, Malene Birger has been asked by Post Denmark to design her own postage stamp. The stamp features a sketch of one of her dresses. This is the first Danish stamp ever created by a fashion designer. The official launch will take place on the 4th of August at a press event at Copenhagen City Hall during Copenhagen Fashion Week.

The stamp will be published in a limited number and available for only six months at the Danish post offices and post shops as well as the By Malene Birger flagship boutique in Copenhagen.
