Giant fancy shoes are being shown in the streets of Salamanca neighboorhood in Madrid, for the exhibition 'Shoe Street Art'.

Inspired by the famous exhibition Cow Parade, this exhibition was born in Elda in 2011 with the desire to emphasize the importance and value of Spanish footwear and now, it will be in the center of the city for five weeks.

The collection includes 26 sculptures (measuring 2.10 meters wide by 2.40 meters high) that have been decorated by artists using different techniques such as urban graffiti, painting or collage. The majority of the artists were born near the Mediterranean Sea.
